Steppe Tahin

Double roasted black tahini, which is identified with the steppe, produced in the steppe district of Konya, has been keeping its place on the tables for many years. The sesame seeds roasted in the wood oven are taken to pools and washed to get the bitterness. This washing process is repeated 10 times by changing the water and thus acquires its characteristic taste.
